About the Director
Company director Wayne Taylor is not only the driving force behind Taylor Group Plumbing, but also the founder of Average Joes, an international men’s movement focused on helping men become stronger, more responsible, and more connected in their lives, families, and communities.
What began as a simple weekly meetup between mates has grown into a movement that now spans multiple countries, bringing men together through local meetups, honest conversations, and shared accountability. Wayne’s passion for building better men has helped shape Average Joes into a platform where men can openly discuss challenges, leadership, family, purpose, and personal growth.
Wayne is also the lead voice behind The Men’s Collective Podcast, one of Australia’s fastest growing podcasts focused on real conversations about masculinity, relationships, responsibility, and what it truly means to be a man in today’s world. Through the podcast, Wayne and the panel tackle tough topics with honesty, humor, and practical insight, reaching listeners across Australia and internationally.
In addition to his work with Average Joes and the podcast, Wayne serves as Chairman of the charitable arm of the organization, The My Projects Team. This fully funded initiative focuses on supporting vulnerable members of the community by providing food, clothing, and essential support to those in need. Each week, the organization feeds and clothes over 100 people, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families doing it tough.
Wayne’s commitment to supporting men and strengthening communities has also been recognized publicly. He was the recipient of the Men’s Health and Wellbeing Award, acknowledging his work in helping men improve their mental health, relationships, and overall wellbeing through community initiatives and leadership.
Wayne believes strong communities are built by strong men who take responsibility for the people around them. Whether through business, community initiatives, or mentoring men, his mission remains the same, to create positive change by encouraging men to step up, lead well, and support others.
